Camp Mikell is the Camp and Conference Center of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. We are located in beautiful northeast Georgia, and our 460 acres includes mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and Little Toccoa Creek.
The Mikell Camp and Conference Center was established in 1941 by the Right Reverend Henry Judah Mikell, Bishop of Atlanta, as a setting for Christian education and recreation for young people. Over the years, it has developed into a year-round conference center. Camp Mikell serves people of all ages in the Diocese and its parishes, as well as other groups whose purposes complement our mission.
We invite you to relax, look over our website, come pull up a rocking chair on one of our porches and visit for awhile.
Camp Mikell’s ministry is to provide an inclusive environment for a faith-based summer camp for children and youth, an outdoor education center and a conference center for groups and retreats of all types.
In a beautiful and natural setting, we at Camp Mikell strive to be a home away from home that will exceed our guests’ expectations.
The American Camp Association is a community of camp professionals who, for 100 years, have joined together to share their knowledge and experience and to ensure the quality of camp programs.
